As a proud parent of Tatum, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey she’s had since joining Risidale Primary School in Grade 2. It’s been amazing to see the tremendous growth she’s experienced academically, socially, and personally—growth I truly believe would be hard to find anywhere else.
From the very start, with Mrs. Enoch in Grade 2, Tatum was given a solid foundation that sparked her curiosity and love for learning. By Grade 3, under the guidance of Mrs. Claasen, I saw her confidence start to blossom—not just in the classroom, but in her relationships with her peers as well. She was becoming more socially engaged, and her speech and communication skills were growing stronger every day.
Now, in Grade 5 with Mrs. Chapman, Tatum continues to thrive. Her academic progress is outstanding, and she approaches each challenge with determination. Tatum is an all-rounder—excelling in sports, academics, and social interactions. Watching her grow into such a well-rounded, confident young individual has been such a rewarding experience as a parent.
But what truly sets Risidale apart is the level of personalized attention that Tatum receives. The teacher-to-student attention at Risidale is phenomenal, allowing for a close, supportive relationship between students and teachers. Each teacher takes the time to truly understand each child’s strengths and needs, providing the kind of tailored support that fosters both academic success and personal growth. I’ve seen first-hand how this individualized attention has helped Tatum reach her full potential.
